Dry Verge Installers Lucan
Dry verge installation provides your gable end with a lasting, weatherproof finish that won’t let you down — no mortar cracking apart, no upkeep to worry about, no chunks tumbling into your flowerbeds each winter. We fit dry verge systems right across Lucan for retrofit projects, complete re-roofs and new builds alike.
Dry verge systems deliver outstanding longevity with zero maintenance needed, and they’ll genuinely improve how your roof looks from the street in Lucan.
Alongside dry verge work, we provide a comprehensive selection of roofline services, including gutter replacements, soffit and fascia upgrades and plenty more.
Two installation scenarios
Retrofit over failing mortar. This is what we do most often. We strip away the cracked or crumbling mortar from your existing wet verge, give the tiles a proper clean, then mechanically secure colour-matched dry verge caps along the entire gable. Most homes are finished within a single day.
New build or re-roof. Installed as standard when a new roof goes on, before everything else gets sealed up. Quicker than bedding mortar and the homeowner gets a longer manufacturer’s warranty on the verge itself.
What is included
- Survey and tile matching, caps chosen to suit your exact roof tile profile and colour
- Removal of deteriorating mortar (on retrofit work)
- Mechanical fixing to roof batten — stays put in all weathers
- Ridge end caps when required for a completely sealed gable peak
- 10+ year manufacturer guarantee covering the system
Colours and tile compatibility
We keep black, brown, grey and terracotta in stock. They work with practically every concrete and clay tile you’ll find on Irish roofs — Marley, Redland, Sandtoft and similar profiles are all covered.

Excellent job done on entire house. Soffits and guttering. Would highly recommend. Very clean. No mess left behind.
John and the JP team were so professional, so nice and really did excellent work. Very impressed with the clean, thorough job they did. They are all so particular and kept saying "it's got to be done right" and keeping us updated on what was being done at each stage. Would highly recommend and have them back again.
I would like to thank John, Peter and Mark for their excellent work. They installed new gutters, fascia and soffits with great expertise. They were punctual and the quality of work was superb. They were extremely courteous and helpful, discussing any issues as they found them. The level of workmanship was exceptional. They cleaned up and took away all the old materials with them. The professionalism shown by this company was top class and I would highly recommend them for this type of work.
Great service from JP Guttering. Easy to deal with, will give you a clear and honest evaluation of the work to be done, and then provide a high quality and timely service. Highly recommend.
Really pleased with the work from JP Guttering. The team were friendly, professional and easy to deal with throughout. The job was completed to a very good standard, everything was left clean and tidy afterwards, and the new fascia and guttering look great. Would happily recommend JP Guttering to anyone looking to get similar work done.
JP Guttering highly recommended. I needed all gutters replaced at the back of my house. I was recommended to call John. He was very good to deal with, he clearly explained what needed to be done. He came when he promised and the team did a really good job for a fair price. I called him recently about a job I needed done for me and my neighbour. He came this morning and fixed the issue. Again very high standard of customer care.
Contacted John on Thursday to replace sagging back gutter… job completed to a high standard on Saturday. Very easy to deal with, punctual, professional and took the time to explain everything in detail. The guys also fixed a few minor problems with other gutters at no extra cost.
I can highly recommend John and his team.
Many thanks.
John and Peter were great to deal with from start to finish and I would have no hesitation recommending JP Guttering as I was really impressed with their work (new gutters, upvc fascia and soffit), efficiency and value for money.
Highly recommend. Great work John Peter and team. New gutters fascia soffits drain pipes and some new roof felt. Happy with service and knowledge and high quality work
I was in need of urgent repair as I had rain water running down the front of my house. John managed to squeeze me and his team showed up exactly when he said they would (not many companies are that dependable). They quickly identified the issue and committed to getting the materials and fixing my problem before it worsened. Thanks to John and team, very impressive service. I can see why there are so many positive reviews.
